Four Leaf Clover Club

The Four Leaf Clover Club Committee
On the first Tuesday of every month, the committee of the Four Leaf Clover Club holds a meeting. Anyone with an interest in the running of the Clubhouse is welcome to attend. Every year during the Annual General Meeting the election of officials to run the committee is made. However the persons chosen for these positions can be changed at any time, provided votes are cast appropriately. In order for the committee to run efficiently a minimum number of five people is required to attend each meeting. As well as attending each meeting there are some main roles shown below, which are taken on by committee members on a voluntary basis. Once you know the organisation, you may want to carry out one of these roles.

The Chair
The principal roles of the Chair are to chair each meeting and ensure everyone has the opportunity to have their views heard, to assist the committee to make decisions and keep in regular contact with the Clubhouse.

The Secretary
The main role of the secretary is to complete the minutes for each meeting and distribute them to trustees and members.

The Treasurer
The roles of the Treasurer are to keep accounts records for the Charity and prepare annual statements of accounts for the Annual General Meeting. All of these accounts will be independently audited in line with Charity legislation. The Treasurer should also provide monies for the smooth running of the Club, and thank our donors.

Vice Chair, Vice Secretary
These positions are necessary in order to assist the Chair and the Secretary and to take their posts if they are unable to attend meetings.
